Project Overview

UrbanGreen was commissioned to create and build a retaining wall of boulders along the lakefront for a private homeowner. In addition to meeting the necessary structural requirements, the project revitalised the property by adding lake access with uniquely designed steps and establishing a secluded space near the boathouse for a planned spa and sauna (the second phase of the development).

Challenges & Solutions

Adverse weather conditions at the lakeside temporarily stalled construction and installation. Floating silt controls were installed to safeguard the quality of the water and the surrounding area, and the works were carefully staged.

Project Outcome

To achieve a harmonious and aesthetically appealing outcome, UrbanGreen collaborated closely with the client to finalise the design, which included the complete property landscaping plan that delivered a beautiful result.
